I dont have a blog unfortunately. i just ooh and aah others'. Kudos to your dedication - baking recipe by recipe from just one book, waking up early so as to take nice pictures (i do wake up at unearthly hours but only so that my family can get freshly baked bread) and is that a baking schedule i see in the background, wow. i'm a lot more ad-hoc ;))btw, i'm Wee.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3970320677819739454.post-69251498408724026692011-07-30T10:24:01.475-07:002011-07-30T10:24:01.475-07:00btw, yes, i think that olive loaf was one of the b...btw, yes, i think that olive loaf was one of the best ive made thus far. the trick is to use enough olives. its so disappointing when there are not enough!Francehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01123188752355883535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3970320677819739454.post-24068804775890408792011-07-30T10:22:46.959-07:002011-07-30T10:22:46.959-07:00hi there anonymous. what's the name of your bl...hi there anonymous. what's the name of your blog? i would love to have a look. i take no credit for the pictures. its all the work of my canon. the bowl is vintage melamine. you can find them on ebay. i have started waking up very early in the morning so that my bread is done at when the light is most optimal. no later than 5:30-6:30 at night. since it's summer, we get longer days and brighter light. but the light at that time is just starting to soften, which makes for great photos. i wake and start the bread at around 7, since chads loaves can take anywhere from 8-10 hours from start to finish, not including the overnight levain.

thank you again for the compliment. i love it when people take the time out to write. it makes this whole forum worth every second!

francis-oliveFrancehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01123188752355883535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3970320677819739454.post-29650622811668342562011-07-30T04:18:03.492-07:002011-07-30T04:18:03.492-07:00hi, i commented last week, the one who suggested t...hi, i commented last week, the one who suggested the coriander, raisin, fennel bread. came by your blog again through yeastspotting and couldnt resist leaving a comment. this is beautiful!! I love your photos, if i could take photos half as decent i would post them too,sigh.. but in any case, i share your joy! isnt it sad - in my case anyway - that often when the bread comes out of the oven, it's at odd hours and i'm the only one who gets to eat it fresh. I feel like rushing out of the house to share it with anyone who will not run in the opp direction at the sight of a stranger waving still-warm bread in the air :)) anyway, bravo! that last shot of the crumb esp, i just 'know' how that tastes...

oh , and you have a beautiful mixing bowl! is it marble? nice and cool for your doughAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3970320677819739454.post-34851503045578973142011-07-29T09:04:52.738-07:002011-07-29T09:04:52.738-07:00Hi Chris.
